New addresses for the Miami Five as they wait resentencing

09 January 2009

Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González, and Ramón Labañino have now all been relocated to the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida, while they await resentencing.

They are scheduled to be resentenced individually on October 13th by the judge who presided over their original trial.

They are being held in solitary confinement, in the same unit, just as they were for the first seventeen months after they were arrested eleven years ago.

They were not allowed to bring with them any of their personal belongings and are only permitted to make phone calls once a week.

Until the resentencing occurs, you can write to the three at their new address:

Antonio Guerrero
#58741-004
FDC Miami
P.O. Box 019120
Miami, FL 33101

Luís Medina (NOTE: the envelope should be addressed to "Luis Medina," but address the letter inside to Ramón)
#58734-004
FDC Miami
P.O. Box 019120
Miami, FL 33101

Rubén Campa (NOTE: the envelope should be addressed to "Rubén Campa," but address the letter inside to Fernando)
#58733-004

The defense team would like to remind supporters of the Five to please not write to the Judge, an action which they believe would not be helpful to the Five.
