Venezuelan premiere in Havana at Fidel's invitation

Monday Dec. 13: Hugo Chávez Frías, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, began an official and friendly visit to Cuba in response to an invitation from President Fidel Castro.

The visit, scheduled to start on Sunday, was postponed due to unforeseen work motives.

During his stay on the island, President Chávez will complete a wide program of activities and hold official talks with his host Fidel Castro.
