Summit will face question of terrorist being sheltered in the US

Salamanca, Spain, Oct. 12 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan Foreign Relations Minister Ali Rodriguez Araque denounced that Luis Posada Carriles is the most infamous terrorist in the Ibero-American region and recalled that the Rio Group had approved a declaration of actions against terrorism.

On his arrival at the ministerial meeting prior to the XV Ibero-American Heads of State and Government Summit, Rodriguez Araque told press his nation expected that the United States would try this instigator of horrendous crimes for the cold-blooded murders committed with malice aforethought.

Responding to questions on other topics, the Foreign Minister said the Venezuelan proposal for an international humanitarian fund was submitted for consideration some time ago, has been accepted in principle, and only awaits some technical details to materialize.

In this context he also mentioned the sub-regional processes moving toward continental South American and Caribbean unity that is a necessary phase for more complete integration.
